A certified translation also known as a statement of truth is a document that has been translated by a person qualified in a format approved by the Association of Translation Companies to prove authenticity.
A notarised translation is more formal than a certified translation and is often required for official government documents. The completed translation is declared on oath and in writing by a Notary Public.
A sworn translation or Affidavit is often used in courts of law. An affidavit statement testifies that the translation is a true and accurate translation of the original document.
